Jogging at KLCC Park in Kuala Lumpur Malaysia

Even though I’m not a super active sportsman, I try to stay healthy through a little exercise. At the beginning of 2025 my bodyweight had reached almost 90kg, and I started feeling bad. I decided to do something about that and increased my daily step count. Now I try to complete at least 8000 steps a day, and eat healthier than I did before.

On our current vacation trip to south east Asia, I had that chance to run at Pattaya/Thailand beach and other places, including KLCC Park in Kuala Lumpur/Malaysia.

There is a soft running track that goes all around the park, with a total length of approx. 1km. The track is mostly cover by trees, so even at 11am, it was still bearable to run despite the temperature of mit 30 Celsius.

All around the track you’ll find filtered drinking water to stay hydrated.

The only thing that bothered me a little were the tourists, who take pictures of the PETRONAS twin Tours in the center of the park on a bridge that’s facing the twin towers.
