After using my 5 year old sneakers last Monday, I decided to let them go. They really fulfilled their purpose. It was time to get something new. I went to the mall to checkout what was on offer. Usually an Adidas guy, I was a bit disappointed by the selection available. Nothing seemed to suit my interest. I was actually looking for running shoes, even though I don’t do much running anymore. However I find it important, that shoes are comfortable to walk long distances, because I walk a lot. Than almost fed up with my findings, I passed a pair of sneakers that were not really in my list.

A pair of Nike sneakers caught my eye.

I hadn’t had Nikes for the many years, so I was a bit reluctant. But since I didn’t find anything else, I gave them a chance.

The sole of running shoes usually provides a good grip, hence I was surprised to see that these shoes have a very smooth sole with cuts every centimeter to make it flexible.

When I put the shoes on, they felt like a second pair of socks, very light and comfy. The are tight, even though there are no shoes laces to be tied. I walked around a bit, surprised about the big differences they were, compared to my old Adidas shoes.

I bought the shoes, and didn’t regret it since.
