My first trip of 2024 took me to Vancouver, Canada.

Now one would think that Canada has a lot of snow in Winter, but actually Vancouver does not.
The vicinity to the Pacific Ocean results in a relatively mild climate with a few days of snow per year only.

But the mountains in the north of Vancouver are probably a paradise for skiing. I don’t do skiing myself, so I can’t tell
Instead I walked around Gastown with an impressive technical marvel, the steam clock located in Gastown.

Pink alley in downtown Vancouver was another place I passed by.

And even though the buildings in Vancouver aren’t that tall, you can get a little bit of that big city vibe over there.
